Tommy J melts are made with 100% soy wax. (No paraffin or acids added to wax). Each wax mould has 6 x 15 grams cubes (74grams in total) of scented soy wax. Each cube will burn and throw scent for 8 hours. Dispose each melt after burning for 8 hours.
Maximising Soy Wax Melts
Always remember to remove all used melt wax in your melt warmer after 8 hours of burning before adding a new cube/s.
Reason, when burning melts, the wax will not evaporate but the fragrance oil dissipates after 8 hours of burning. The wax will not have any scent throw as all the fragrance oil has dissipated.
So to maximise soy wax melt's scent throw, remove all used wax every 8 hours of burning.
Never leave a lit melt burner unattended or within reach of children or animals.
